Minnie, Monte, and Claire Doing Great Through Day 7!

okay, she’s STARTING to look at you!

So life with 7 day old kittens isn’t terribly exciting to photograph, although it’s pretty cool to make happen. They’re doing GREAT, so far! They’re eating like champs, gaining weight, developing like crazy, and developing fat bellies!

They sleep a lot.

Sleeping DOES include an awful lot of rearrangement to maximize their cute.

Did I mention they sleep a lot?

Sleeping isn’t always a still thing – there are twitchy DREAMS!

Very twitchy!

And they reposition to maximize cute! Here they are like little sausages in a row!

April 9:

April 11 – fatter sausages!

Seriously – look at the BELLY! And the BELLY DOTS OF DOOM! And the tiny paw over the face?

And here is tiny Monte, on the right, practicing his sunbathing curly-paws pose.

He is the smallest, and SO CUTE! I love Minnie’s paws here, too.

He’s really just under a handful!

And so is Minnie, even though she’s bigger!

Pampi, it turns out, loves to be the mommy! He helps me nearly every feed!

Here he is in their box, waiting patiently, while I feed them. “Give ’em here – I’ll clean ’em up!” They are SO SOFT because he’s doing that

He’s such a good helpful boy!

They are going to be going in twelve directions, soon! He’ll be able to help chase them! 😉

There’s more than one escape artist in the batch!

Would you like to see some tiny baby kitten toes? You know you would!

Now, it isn’t ALL sleeping, obviously. They do come out to eat, and have already started playing, even though they can’t see or hear yet! They sure know how to search for the food! The bottles aren’t quite warm yet, and they’re snarfing around on my toes!

And there’s early grooming!

And Minnie is a little chomper with her little gummy mouth! Even when she’s already full!

CHOMP!

If you only click on one video, this probably has the most cute bang for your buck … Minnie is FRISKING me and whapping and chomping! She can’t see or hear me, but she can PLAY!

Claire says: “Come back soon – I should be able to see you better by then! Until then, I will look out my tiny little peep holes with my milk mustache, and wait for you!”
